Fair Part II - The Puyallup Fair with Daddy

So Daddy didn't miss out on all the fun, we all went as a family on Daddy's day off. We waited until after nap time and it made a big difference! Everyone was in good spirits and ready for some country fun.

Ethan in his cowboy hat, super excited for a fun day at the "farm."
(That's what he kept calling the fair)
Emren was NOT excited about the hat thing.
Still such a cutie!

'Lijah thought it was fun to put it on and take it off right as I would try to take a picture of him. What a stinker! Super cute though!

YeeHaw Daddy!
(He's right there with Emren)

Goofy Mama!

The Pugmire train pulling out of the parking lot.

Milk/Snack time.
We took a break at this cute "Kid's Garden" area.

Enough of this...GIVE US OUR MILK!

Even Daddy and Mama are having a good time.

He loved wearing his hat around.

Can you stick anymore banana in your mouth buddy?

What's next?!

Ethan trying out some old-school laundry methods.
Good work buddy!

Ethan's first face painting ever! I don't know why but it was so exciting for me. It felt like a real "fair" experience after the face paint. He was such a brave boy about it too. He loved the idea of a train on his face.

Daddy and Ethan in the SWAT truck.

Ethan's favorite attraction this time around...MONSTER TRUCK!

Well, maybe getting to choose a ride to ride on was his favorite. This was the first time he's been on a ride though. He looked at everything that was there and chose the "racer cars" even over some airplanes and trucks. He didn't know quite what to expect but just went along with things really well. Waited in line.

Anxiously awaited his turn, trying to see what car he was going to get.

Finally, his turn. He just hopped right in.

"I'm in Heaven!"

After prying him away from the racer cars, and wiping a few tears away, he stopped to play this "instrument" with some drumsticks. He loved being able to hit things with sticks and not get in trouble for it.

And to top it all off...ICE CREAM!

Even the babies got some. Yummy, huh Emren?

Nothing is good unless you can get it all over your face 'Lijah Bear!

You're going to regret it buddy!

Even at the very end of the night, Ethan has energy enough to run through the pitch black parking lot to the car. Must have been the ice cream kicking in.

Milk For Two Please, Mom

I never thought I would say this but I think I'm going to miss the bottle days.

We Love Chocolate!!!

Mama and Ethan sharing our love of chocolate one evening.
It was a halfway healthy treat...and chocolate is kind of good for you, right?

Sunday Afternoon

A couple of weeks ago, the boys actually slept at church so we let them stay up a little while after we got home. Ethan was taking his nap so we got some two-on-two time with them. Those moments aren't too common anymore. It was fun to focus on just their smiles and giggles.

Elijah wearing Daddy's tie. Emren getting a little sleepy.

Everyone loves playing with Daddy.
Daddy's boys all the way! What a handsome trio!

Emren the Daredevil

My little Emren...this guy has always been my wiggle worm. He is always on the go and is trying new things with his body all the time.

We were on our way home from the park one Friday afternoon. The two babies were in the wagon and Ethan was supposed to by riding his tricycle but instead, he insisted on walking. We were almost home (just across the street in fact) when Ethan started throwing a bit of a fit about coming home and was making his way out into the street. I went to chase after him and just as I turned around to drag Ethan back, Emren was trying to climb out of the wagon and fell over the side right onto the sidewalk. This is not his first booboo but definitely his most notable one.

Poor Baby!

Ethan got quite an earful (I'm surprised the Wilps didn't hear us) and a serious time out. Emren was a trooper though. He let me keep the ice pack on his head for about 10min. and really didn't end up bruising too badly.
