So our Monday Family Home Evenings last all of about 5 minutes or so. By after dinner time, Ethan has a hard time sitting down to read a book (one of his favorite things to do) let alone pay attention to a lesson of any length. We usually just pick some pictures or a poem/short story to talk about in the Friend magazine. If anyone has any ideas for me, PLEASE let me know. These pics were after family night was over. I'm surprised Ethan stopped running crazy long enough to say hello to brothers.

Your FHE sounds about like ours....a couple songs, a quick prayer, and a short lesson if we're lucky. I think at this stage, the important thing is that your kids see the consistency. If they learn somthing its a bonus. We've been teaching the lessons out of the nursery manual. Again, I don't know how much Hank is absorbing, but I figure if he gets the same lesson for FHE and then again at nursery there is a slight chance that something might stick. Good luck!
